1970s Hamilton Chrono-Matic

Why This Watch Matters

The Chrono-Matic is one of Hamilton’s most iconic chronographs. This example features the famed caliber 11 movement with micro-rotor and blue dial.

The Full Story

The caliber 11 is known as the first automatic chronograph movement, though Heuer and Seiko would say otherwise. Hamilton utilized this special caliber with hidden microtor in the Chrono-matic, like the one you see here. This example has a beautiful matte blue dial, full case with left-hand crown, and silvered tachymeter scale. If Hamilton is your jam this watch is it.
