The Full Story

The Sprint line was developed for athletes, so that they could time their performance and take their heart rate. This explains why resin was chosen for the case, as it allowed for a light presence on the wrist, much like Richard Mille timepieces in the last couple of decades. As a true child of the 1970s, the Sprint came in a variety of flashy colors; obviously it came in orange, but also in burgundy, blue and green. To this day, it looks effortlessly cool while remaining practical and reliable.

What we Love and What You Should Know

Overall this watch is in very good condition. There are minimal scratches on the case, and the bezel is nearly perfect. The dial looks great with minimal signs of aging, and the tritium lume plots are full. The chronograph buttons are crisp. Note that the original tropic strap was replaced with a HODINKEE strap. This is a funky and practical vintage Breitling chronograph that will set you apart from the pack.
