The Full Story

Tudor introduced the distinctive Snowflake handset in its 1969 catalog, with the references 7016 and 7021. Accordingly, the indexes on the dial took the square shape you see here, which differentiated this Sub even more from its Rolex-born siblings. The reference 7021 was the first Tudor Submariner reference to feature a date and was produced in blue or black. The black version we have here is an exceptional example with even patina that has turned the color of vanilla ice cream. If you’re looking for a Submariner with a twist, this is the watch for you.
