The example we have here is powered by the trusted Excelsior Park 40 movement and sits on a fantastic steel bracelet in the style of Gay Frères. Furthermore the watch features a slick black dial with a well-balanced tachymeter scale and three sub dials. This is a fantastic example of what Gallet did so well in the 1950s and 1960s, particularly with their chronographs.

This watch is in fantastic condition with minimal signs of aging. The case has very few minor scratches and scuffs, however it may have been lightly polished in the past. The dial is flawless, but the numbers were applied with little finesse, which was standard for these watches according to archival images. Overall, this is a fantastic vintage chrono.
